CAMPS AT RIVERROCK
Kids are placed in age-appropriate groups and partake in a wonderful mix of musical and athletic-related activities. NO MUSICAL EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. Some of the activities include drumming, playing on keyboards, making musical instruments, playing improv games, creating cheer songs & battling in tug-of-war/running relay races in the county park across the street. Additional Details: Kids bring their own lunch, 2 snacks & a water bottle.
Kids are placed in a band, rock out daily, and do a live-streamed mini-performance on Fridays. Kids are placed in a band based on their experience. Must have basic proficiency in one of the pop/rock instruments: electric guitar, bass guitar, drums, keyboards, and voice. Set lists are chosen by campers. Kids also get a chance to run around and play organized games in the county park across the street. At the end of the week (Fridays), students perform in a Livestream show. Additional Details: Kids bring their own lunch, 2 snacks & a water bottle.
All instruments will be provided by the school at no additional cost.
Camp starts at 9:00 AM daily with our morning check-in.
Camp ends at 3:00 PM daily. Guardians must complete arrival/dismissal form (All forms will be sent after online registration) to designate if child will be a “walker” or “picked up” and the name of the person picking up the camper.
Please note that there are 2 snack-breaks daily and we ask that all snacks (and lunches) are nut-free.
Campers must bring their own lunch. Lunches will not be refrigerated; please pack accordingly.
Although we are a music camp, we believe outside time in the summer is healthy and fun for campers. At 11:00 AM each day we will walk to nearby VE Macy County Park, where campers will play games and eat lunch. Campers return to RIVERROCK at 1:00 PM for afternoon music. The park is a 5 minute walk away.
We will abide by all Westchester County and New York State regulations regarding masking and social distancing.
WHAT TO BRING
Mandatory: Water bottle & Lunch in an insulated lunch box/bag.

Campers age 8+ who have some proficiency on an instrument will perform on Fridays as part of a band. The band will play 1-3 songs which are going to be recorded and livestreamed. Parents/Guardians will be sent the exact time and links to the livestream.
